The Aliya Rose Ridgeway Memorial Fund for SIDS Research was founded after Aliya Rose Ridgeway passed away due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome on September 28, 2005 at 17 months of age. Aliya's parents, Forrest and Marietta Ridgeway, had received so much support through family, friends and co-workers.

This fund was created to provide support, information and guidance to the public about the issues with SIDS and prevention. The Aliya Rose Ridgeway Memorial Fund for SIDS Research is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and was duly registered in the appropriate venues.

The family suggests contributions to the Aliya Rose Ridgeway Memorial Fund for S.I.D.S. Research, Citizens Bank, 652 N. DuPont Highway, Milford DE 19963.
